When Maurice Pilat brought out his film,'Á nos amours' the world was never the same. Sandrine Bonnaire plays Suzanne; a sweet young girl who finds her family life taking an ugly turn. Her family is breaking up, but her social life is more alive then ever. Will she listen to her mother and her corrupt expectations? If you do anything worthwhile in life, it would be to watch this masterpiece.  

Valentino is my new love and designer of the month! These dresses are so pretty, words cannot do them justice. So I just want to share with you a few of my favourites :) These are mainly from the ss 12 collection as I seem to be drawn to the delicate florals that envoke the freshness of spring.

What are you studying at Vic?  

Psychology

 Your favourite beauty tips are:

Your day is better if you have good hair! I only wash my hair about every 4 days, so it grows long. I use simple products on my skin-  I use rose water as a toner because I find others are too drying, you can find this at most Pharmacys.  At night I use staight vitamin E cream. With make up you have to figure it out by yourself- what works for you, I like Loreal Mascara and foundation. 

Do you have a fitness routine?

 Yes I try to go to gym most days. I love yoga and pilates

 

Your attitude towards Style:

I buy heaps of basics and like to have a statement piece, lipstick also fixes everything! I Look to others for inspiration but do your own thing. I have always been obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. 

What's inspiring you at the moment? 

I'm listening to heaps of jazz music- I love Billie Holiday. When I go to my Memory class for Pyschology our teacher plays heaps of blues, like Chet Baker. I just read Eat, Prey, Love- an amazing book. Also I'm obsessed with instagram!

 Tell me about your style:

  I really like having a mix of old and new pieces, I wear a lot of dark colours- forest green, navy, dark reds. 

I also like delicate patterns and little flowers on clothes. Love lonely hearts, and band tee shirts! 

Beauty Advice?  

Drink lots of water and wear a good lipstick! I like Bobby brown, Smashbox, and lancome.

 Your favourite recipe?

Lasanga with home made sauce.

I mainly shop at second hand shops, I layer in winter, and I love florals.

  The impending holidays- I'm going to travel a bit around NZ.
